The industry's premier annual Conference, the 2009 combined AFAC, Bushfire CRC event was staged on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Appropriately themed "Meeting Expectations" the conferenced examined how the emergency services interpret and meet the expectations of government, community, industry and the sector itself? How do they measure, understand and respond to the often contradictory demands and expectations from various sectors? What are we really striving to achieve?
