National Coroners Information System

The National Coroners Information System (NCIS) is a national Internet based data storage and retrieval system for Australian coronial cases. Information about every death reported to an Australian coroner since July 2000 (January 2001 for Queensland) is stored within the system, providing a valuable hazard identification and death prevention tool for coroners and research agencies.

Australian Bureau of Statistics

ABS is one of many providers of statistics (albeit the largest) that are used to inform research, discussion and decision making within governments and the community.  The organisations and arrangements, formal and informal, which together provide such statistics, form Australia's national statistical system.  The range of services that are collectively provided for Australia constitutes Australia's national statistical service.

New Zealand Fire Statistics

Provides data on every emergency incident that is attended by the Fire Service.

UK Fire Statistics and Research

Fire Statistics and Research Division, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister provides support to Fire and Rescue Service Directorate by providing expert advice to policy makers on technical matters, commissioning and undertaking research to inform policy decisions relating to fire service operations and practices, maintaining the national fire statistics function, doing statistical work to underpin and evaluate policy and, where necessary, developing technical guidance for the fire service.

National Fire Protection Association

NFPA´s Fire Analysis and Research division offers a wide range of statistical and data services through its One-Stop Data Shop. Their goal is to help our customers find the best fire experience information available, quickly and conveniently.

US Fire Administration

This site contains statistics on US fires, fire-fighters and fire departments and analytical and topical reports that describe the national fire problem. 

World Fire Statistics Centre

The Centre collects and collates fire cost statistics each year under seven main headings from a number of leading countries, mainly from Europe.

Provides Canadian fire statistics and describes their consequences.
