The Victorian Royal Commission Examines Aerial Firefighting
On Monday, April 19, The Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission dedicated a day of hearing to the subject of aerial firefighting.
NAFC General Manager Richard Alder together with Nick Ryan, formerly of the Victorian State Aircraft Unit, presented evidence at the hearing. The issues covered included rapid initial attack, very large airtankers and the use of military resources.
