The following changes affecting NTFRS executive positions will commence from 8 January 2011 as a result of the Director’s resignation.

• Director NTFRS. Mr Mick Ayre will act as the Director from 8 January 2011 pursuant to Section 8 of the Fire and Emergency Act until the recruiting and selection process has concluded and a new Director is appointed.

• Chief Fire Officer. Mr David Ellis will act as the Chief Fire Officer pursuant to Section 9 of the Fire and Emergency Act until a new Director is appointed.

• Assistant Director Strategy and Development. Ms Beth Moloney will act as the Assistant Director Strategy and Development until 31 May 2011.
