An announcement has been released confirming that Greg Nettleton has been appointed to the position of Chief Officer of the South Australia Country Fire Service.
An announcement has been released confirming that Greg Nettleton has been appointed to the position of Chief Officer of the South Australia Country Fire Service (CFS).
For the past five years Greg has been with the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service, where he started as Assistant Director and Chief Fire Officer in 2005, and two years later took on the role as the Executive Director and Chief Fire Officer.
Greg’s diverse career features appointments in engineering, research and development, l and management, training, strategic contingency planning, risk management and emergency management.
In addition to developing significant skills and experience in State and National emergency management, Greg has also gained the skills necessary to lead the CFS with extensive bushfire experience from his time in West Australia.
Greg will be commencing in his new role with the CFS on Monday 24 January 2011.
