Overview

Increasingly, eucalypt plantations are being grown for solid wood products throughout the world. With a longer rotation length (15-40 years), these plantations will likely be exposed to wildfire. In order to minimise the damage from wildfire, fuel loads must be managed and pre-scribed fire is likely to be the most efficient, cost-effective method available.
