Overview
The aim of this research was to:
- identify the social trends impacting on Pacific families, households and communities
- assess what knowledge about pacific fire risk, fire awareness and fire safety behaviours exists.
Additionally an assessment of what Pacific peoples preferred method of receiving promotional information is and how best to engage with at-risk Pacific population groups was investigated. Nui Development Inc conducted face-to face surveys and focus groups to achieve this.
