The leadership within an organisation, at every level, is often the cornerstone which dictates success. While leadership is a characteristic we have always understood to be important, the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission highlighted a lack of leadership shown on the 7th of February 2009 was highly evident. Greater focus on the development of leadership capability is required. A leader's capability within an agency sets the tone for the culture that resonates throughout the workforce.
