Overview

In 2005 FESA Board and CEO initiated the development of an accredited program known as the FESA Employer Recognition Program (the ERP) to adopt a more structured approach to formally recognising and rewarding employers of emergency service volunteers and self employed volunteers. Stakeholder workshops were held to further develop and refine the concept. Read more from the ERP Executive Summary.

The FESA Employer Recognition Program (ERP) incorporates all FESA Volunteers and is the first of its kind in Australia. Under the ERP employers that meet specific requirements can be presented with an award from one of three categories (Gold, Silver and Bronze).
