Overview
The NZFS Code of Practice for Fire Fighting Water Supplies was reviewed against other countries legislative regimes and initiatives, to see how it compared to international best practice.
A small survey of residential developers was conducted to assess the level of industry awareness of the code of practice and what they thought of it. A cost benefit analysis was conducted against a number of scenarios where the code of practice could be implemented.
