Proposals for new developments in the bushfire prone areas of South Australia are assessed through an integrated planning and building approval process that provides a consistent state policy framework.
The presentation provides an explanation of the GIS mapping that forms the basis of the bushfire risk identification; the policy framework for planning and building requirement, and the development of a web portal to assist people in determining the requirements for their site.
